Covid 19 Update – October 2020 Newsletter – Delivered by our Director Stephen Symes
There are regional lockdowns in place in many places across South Wales, with potential for another national lockdown on the horizon if we do not gain control of this rapidly spreading, deadly virus. It makes for some very uncertain times ahead going into 2021.
In order to try and help during these tough times, I have personally decided that during the month of October, we are going to provide a 50% discount to all prospective Will Writing & Estate Planning clients that “like” & “share” our page(s) on social media (up to £200 discount). We will also be running a live draw at the end of October and selecting one of our new followers to receive free Will Writing & Estate Planning advice (up to £400). The draw will be run live so clients can see the process is done fairly.
I would like to give something back during these tough, uncertain times and ensure that, at least people have their estate planning affairs in order, by us encouraging them to do so, via the discount we are offering. With the lockdowns in place across South Wales, people will find it difficult to seek advice face to face, currently. At GFP pride ourselves on helping others and we really want to help contribute, as best we can, towards the return to normal. With this process of “liking” & “sharing” our social media pages, we hope that we can create more awareness of the importance of having a legal & valid Last Will & Testament in place, by encouraging friends and family to seek advice.
We have also developed a digital “DIY” Will Writing service, where clients can create their own standard Will online with ease. The product is due to be launced in November 2020, at the latest. During the month of November will be running a discounted service, so please look out for the lanch of this service. This product is born out of the Covid-19 outbreak, in having to research and develop new ways of prospective clients being able to create their legal document from the comfort of their own home, whiist also being able to seek further estate planning advice via our helpline, if required.
in line with us having to evolve during this outbreak, we are also developing a physical Last Will & Testament that can be purchased and posted to you. These will be available on Amazon and our ecommerce website very soon (look out for further information very soon).
As you can see with the above developments, we really are looking at ways of having a solution for all.
Let’s all stay postive, listen to the advice we are being given to stay safe, and I am sure there will be light at the end of the tunnel very soon.
